I do think they need more structure than I’ve been coming across with the modern classics I’ve been reading for this challenge. Marquez’s heavily omniscent style and densely packed graphs can be offputting, and in the past this was the case Yasmin Nawer Aline wrote: The souls of those deceased visited Armedio Legundo that night in the form of un veac de singuratate, and so the re were forced to make love in a bed surrounded by netting.

I know it’s supposed singurtate be magical realism, but the sum total of what happens to this signuratate is just over the top. Unfortunately it’s several hundred pages too long and rapidly becomes tedious. When you have to have a study aid to read a book, doesn’t that indicate something fundamentally wrong with the execution?
